The much awaited Wella Trend Vision for 2003 showcased a triplicate epic exhibition of trends which once again drew in the participation of top Malaysian hairstyling and fashion industry professionals. Providing a magnificent backdrop to the Wella Trend Vision 2003 production held at the Wella Studio was the outline of the three style statements; Energizing Antiquity, Eccentric Romantic and Graphic Elegance. Known for its forward thinking inventiveness and artistry, Wella Trend Vision is a paradoxical twist inclined towards historical inspirations for style statements to be interpreted by stylists. To derive their creative hairstyles, stylists were taken back centuries into the past, from the mythical Greek and ancient Roman period (Energizing Antiquity) to the surrealism of the 20th-century (Eccentric Romantic) and finally to the distinct glamour of Chicago's 1930s (Graphic Elegance). With these three style statements in line, designing
a style iconic to the specific period moods whilst maintaining
an affiliation with current trend should have proved to be a momentous
challenge. The results of the time travel experience however,
validated that our Malaysian fashion and hairstyling professionals
were back in the future with their avant-garde creations which
were spot on in celebration of the respective themes. . |
