Burberry opened its retail doors for the first time in Malaysia on 28 November, 2003 with a bright and vibrant cocktail event at its flagship store in Suria KLCC. Celebrating this milestone with Burberry were industry professionals, ‘fashionistas’, celebrities and the crème de la crème of society who were the first few to get a sneak-peek at the inaugural Burberry store. The Burberry store located at the strategic Suria KLCC is approximated 2,000 square feet and furnished with the classic Burberry design. The Burberry store houses the autumn/winter 2003/2004 collection which include men’s wear, women’s wear and the accessories collection. At the store opening cocktail event, models and even guests were dressed in Burberry attire and accessories. More than 200 people attended the event consisting of guests and members of the media at the flagship store at Suria KLCC. The cocktail ensemble consisted of people from various profession, age and lifestyle. Very aptly, this truly personified Burberry’s breadth and length of its product line. From suits to street wear, there is something for anyone and for any occasion.
