by Esprit hosts fashion party at Pulse, Grand Millennium Hotel For the very first time, edc is the official sponsor of the MTV Asia Awards 2008, which was held at the Arena of Stars in Genting - City of Entertainment, Malaysia! What better way to kick off a weekend full of glamour and stars than to start with a truly stylish fashion bash? Even the Esprit store at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, was dressed with MTV inspired decorations especially for the occasion. edc was happy to invite an esteemed audience of 200 guests from around the Asian region to one of Kuala Lumpur’s coolest venues – the Pulse at Grand Millennium Hotel – for an exclusive fashion party. The in-crowd and international media gathered at the Pulse on Friday night to get a glimpse of the latest looks from edc. For trendy girls, edc women turned the catwalk into a stage for the coolest looks between boyfriend chic and vintage glam: leather biker jackets became a tough style breaker of sweet schoolgirl styles and feminine trousers were coupled with print T-shirts. The boys dressed by edc men spotted an urban crossover look between natural vintage and high-tech, strongly inspired by the music scene. Must-haves for autumn/winter 2008/2009 are definitely the young interpretation of the caban jacket as well as structured cotton fabrics and denims with the focus on straight leg styles. All outfits that hit the edc runway were enthusiastically greeted by the audience, while enjoying a sip of champagne & fine hors d’oeuvres in a fashion-charged atmosphere.  |
