Fafinettes Come Out to Play At The Launch of FAFI for M∙A∙C Collection

A brand in relentless pursuit of new exciting colours to grace the vanity of women around the world. A talented and edgy French graffiti artist who inspires women to embrace their animated and sensual personalities through her art. The result – FAFI for M∙A∙C.

In an official launch held at Mid Valley Megamall, M∙A∙C and three distinct Fafinettes played host to approximately 500 guests from the cosmetic industry, celebrities, stylists and trendsetters. Specially created by Fafi to personify the characteristics of the new collection, the three Fafinettes―Eriko, Ermine and Monoka―mingled and partied with the crowd, unleashing their free spirited presence to lend the event a voyeuristic experience.

The event setup was an embodiment of the three Fafinette’s personality. At the reception, guest encountered Ermine’s love for graffiti with a special Fafi drawn graffiti wall erected to encourage guests to express themselves with words or drawings. Entering the event area, a burst of quirky colours invaded the senses as the centre court was transformed into the ideal Fafinette hangout spot. The music was deftly mixed by the music loving Eriko from her iPod playlist. She even got the guests to put in their two cents on the music selection. At the same time, trays of delicious food brought together by the foodie and big sister of the group, Monoka, gave guests a round-the-world experience with French crepes, Japanese Monju, Moroccan sweets and more. 

Throughout the night all three Fafinettes were seen dancing and interacting with the crowd, keeping the momentum of the evening on an inherent high. Armed with a camcorder, the Fafinettes set out to get the scoop on the latest updates from guests by interviewing them about their current likes and dislikes. As a little memento for guests to take home, the interview will be recorded on a mini DVD and given out with a special Fafi fold-out poster so that they can upload the interview onto facebook or youtube and share this amazing evening with their friends.
