Salvatore Ferragamo Celebrates the Grand Opening of New Flagship Store

Salvatore Ferragamo, Italian luxury brand, celebrated the grand opening of its flagship store at Pavilion KL with a spectacular event featuring a Spring/Summer 2008 fashion show and cocktail party.

Over 300 guests were hosted to an evening of glamour and style, with the presence of Mr Paul Cadman, Regional Managing Director of Ferragamo Hong Kong Ltd, Mr Jeremy Hobbins, Group Managing Director, LiFung Trinity (Management) Limited and Ms Michelle Ng, Regional Managing Director, LiFung Trinity Management (Singapore) Pte Ltd.

Arriving in the sporting luxury four-door sedan Maserati Quattroporte, Mr Allan Wu, international actor and host, made a sensational appearance at the grand opening, looking chic and dashing in a sleek Salvatore Ferragamo suit. Joining him was opera diva, Ms Syafinaz Selamat, poised and stunning in the best of Salvatore Ferragamo dress decked in glitterati.

Perfectly embodying ‘La Dolce Vita’ style, beautiful images of the Spring/Summer 08 advertising campaign featuring supermodel Ms Claudia Schiffer set the ambience for the evening. Guests mingled and enjoyed a cocktail reception as the stage and runway came to life. Models decked in the latest Salvatore Ferragamo Spring / Summer 2008 Men’s and Women’s Ready-to-Wear Collection enraptured the imagination of guests. The female models walked the runway in vibrant and dazzling shades of golden, rose and blue hues, while the men looked undeniably chic in classic white and different shades of grey.

The new 300 sq. meter two-storey flagship store is designed in keeping with the worldwide store design concept of Salvatore Ferragamo. Contemporary white décor fused with traditional warm, walnut-coloured hues create a calm and cozy ambiance. The new flagship store showcases the new collection of men’s and women’s shoes, leather and silk accessories, ready-to-wear, eyewear and fragrances.
