Montblanc’s
Dazzling “Symphony of Stars”
It was
a night of grandeur and style as Montblanc celebrated the grand opening
of its two-storey flagship boutique, which stands tall along the posh
corridors of the Couture Pavilion that houses some of the world’s
stellar luxury brands.
The presence of Mr. Lutz Bethge, CEO of Montblanc International,
accompanied by the President and CEO of Montblanc Asia Pacific, Mr.
James Siano, and Managing Director of Montblanc South East Asia, Ms.
Catherine Ang, was a demonstration of Montblanc’s commitment to its
well-heeled Malaysian clientele, and its recognition of Kuala Lumpur as
the up-and-coming regional shopping and entertainment hub.
The night of celebration was preceded by the official grand opening of
the street front duplex boutique, the largest in South East Asia, at
the Couture Pavilion by Mr. Lutz Bethge and two honoured friends of
Montblanc, Tun Dr. Siti Hasmah, the former First Lady of Malaysia and
key contributor of Malaysia and Dato’ Siti Nurhaliza, the
nation’s much loved diva.
Upon the unclasping of the Montblanc star by the three key
personalities at the boutique entrance, the velvety carpeted area
outside the boutique came alive with a spectacular display of lights,
bursts of confetti and a rousing celebrative tempo by a troop of
international percussionists – after which VIP guests were invited into
the boutique for an exclusive, private tour.
As guests absorbed the grandeur boutique throughout the tour which has
two distinct levels, each for the discerning female clientele and
another for the distinguished male clientele, Montblanc team of staff
were also on hand to introduce the latest collections and highlight on
the dedicated European craftsmanship, using only the finest materials
for every product.
Guests were then ushered to join in Montblanc’s celebrative evening of
food and entertainment at the Bintang Circle, together with the
crème de la crème of Malaysia’s business and social set.
Specially invited guests and friends of Montblanc were ushered along
the lush deep jet-black carpet, down the signature Spanish steps decked
in stylish glitterati and greeted with professional acrobats in their
soft and graceful pirouettes as they made their way into an enchanted
evening under a grand canopy.
