Gallery
Jaeger-LeCoultre,
the legendary Swiss watchmaker has once again pushed the limits in the
watch industry, testifying to its legacy of courage and creativity, by
collaborating its latest collection of timepieces with one of the most
unexpected, Valentino Rossi, the prince of motorcycling. Valentino
Rossi, the seven-time world champion at the age of just 28, visited the
Jaeger-LeCoultre boutique here at the elegant Star Hill Gallery for the
launch and unveiling of his timepieces, the Master Compressor Extreme
W-Alarm, Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm ‘46’ limited series of 946
and Master Compressor Extreme W-Alarm ‘46’ limited series of 346.
The silence was broken at the usually quiet Adorn Floor of Starhill
Gallery by the excited chatters among guests and fans of Valentino
Rossi, exchanging their eagerness to meet the young Italian champion.
The high adrenaline evening started off with a presentation of the
latest Valentino Rossi’s watch collections, heightening the excitement
and curiosity amongst guests.
The energy in the room increased as the prince of motorcycling took
center stage next to the dazzling beauty, Elaine Daly, who played emcee
for the day and Mr. Xavier Dufoix, Managing Director of
Jaeger-LeCoultre of South East Asia.
The partnership between Jaeger-LeCoultre and Valentino Rossi comes to
very little surprise as they both have great deal in common, ambitious,
high precision, technical excellence and the quest for perfection. The
collaboration brings together the qualities that define the exceptional
skills of watch making at Jaeger-LeCoultre and the boldness of
Valentino Rossi.
Evidently the highlight of the evening was the much anticipated
unveiling of the Jaeger-LeCoultre timepieces. All eyes were on the
showcases as Valentino Rossi made pit-stops around the Jaeger-LeCoultre
boutique to unveil the three timepieces, pausing every once in a while
as guests gaze in admiration.
