Brand New Era Dawns for Glenmorangie
Glenmorangie,
Scotland’s best-selling brand of single malt whisky threw an
extravagant party to unveil its exciting new era in pomp and style.
Hosted by none other than Glenmorangie ambassador and Global Whisky
2007 Icon Dr Bill Lumsden, the media and guests alike were guided to
take in the exciting palettes of aromas of the refined Glenmorangie
Single Malt Scotch Whisky range.
Themed “Kaleidoscope Tasting”, Dr Bill Lumsden brought his captivated
audience through a whisky tasting session to experience the depth and
complexity of the newly refined range of Glenmorangie whiskies. All
present were enthralled by the new Original, Lasanta, Quinta Ruban and
Nectar D’Or, which textures and tastes were skilfully “opened up” with
the nosing and tasting techniques taught by Dr Lumsden.
Following this, media and guests were brought to a gorgeous “sensorial
experience”, where the grand ballroom of KL Hilton was lusciously
decorated to depict the four separate whiskies, each room separated
from the other. For the breathtaking and refreshing Original, a
luscious garden filled with plants, flowers and fruits around an
intimate gazebo. For the sensuous and full bodied Lasanta, a plush and
luxury boudoir set in passionate red was awaiting guests. The
hearty and warm Quinta Ruban had a sumptuous spread of delicious food
and drinks that befits a thanksgiving dinner. For the bright and
pleasant sweet Nectar D’Or, a mouth-watering patisserie filled to the
brim with cakes and sweets was arranged to delight guests to a sweet
note. It was indeed a grand sight to behold.
The tour finally culminated in the main area, where guests witnessed
the grand launch of the Glenmorangie Single Malt Whiskies. Guests were
served sumptious cocktails and entertained by a local jazz band.
As the event drew to a close, guests sauntered home enchanted by the
kaleidoscope of textures, aromas and tastes of Glenmorangie Single Malt
whisky.
