Samsung Launches Campaign To Select 18 Malaysian Torchbearers For Beijing 2008 Olympic Games

Samsung Malaysia Electronics today launched its campaign to select torchbearers for the Olympic Torch Relay in Malaysia. At an event graced by YAM Tunku Tan Sri Imran ibni Tuanku Ja’afar, President of the Olympic Council of Malaysia, Samsung Malaysia Electronics announced that 18 Malaysians who exemplify the theme ‘pushing the limits for a better life’, would be offered a once in a lifetime opportunity to take part in the Olympic Torch Relay which will be held on 21 April 2008 in Kuala Lumpur.

Internationally, from April 2008 the Olympic Torch Relay will travel through 23 cities in 20 nations and 113 cities in China.
