Celebrates 5 Years of Partnership with WilliamsF1 Team
Oris,
the Swiss watch manufacturer, hosted a grand celebration to mark its 5
years of triumphant partnership with the WilliamsF1 team. This
milestone event was held at its flagship boutique in Lot 10, Kuala
Lumpur in the presence of Datuk Azalina Dato’ Othman Said, Minister of
Youth and Sports and Nico Rosberg, WilliamsF1 Driver.
This year also witnessed the furtherance of the Oris branding on the
drivers’ gloves in addition to its current branding on the front wing
end plates, the drivers’ overalls as well as on the pit stop crew’s
clothing.
Oris’ association with WilliamsF1 started in 2003 as the team’s
official time provider. With the intention of broadening their
influence in new markets, the Swiss company produced a series of
Formula One inspired timepieces, with the strap designs reflecting that
of a Formula One tyre’s vertical tread.
Oris in living up to its commitment as the official watch partner today
added to the collection, a sporty mechanical top class quality watch,
which had its debut here in Malaysia, even before the Basel fair!
Datuk Azalina Dato’ Othman Said, Nico Rosberg and Paul Phua, General
Manager of Swiss Prestige Sdn Bhd put their best hands forward to
unveil the New Oris TT3 Chronograph.
“This partnership links exciting worlds on a high level: High-Mech
watches matched with the High-Tech of Formula One. The art of
watch-making and motor racing, both at Oris and the WilliamsF1 team are
based on long tradition and great passion in the pursuit of
excellence,” said Paul Phua.
