
Louis Vuitton Hosts A Star-Studded Celebration For The Opening At
Starhill Gallery

Vuitton achieved a major milestone as the brand celebrated its 21 years
of history in Malaysia, by opening the new flagship store in Starhill
Gallery, the ultimate luxury shopping arena and experience in Kuala
Lumpur, with a celebration for more than 600 guests.
The new store features Louis Vuitton’s signature interior. The
architecture and design concept reflects the Malletier’s cherished
traditions and unparalled luxury. The gem of the store is Kuala
Lumpur’s first VIP room and the luxurious watch and jewelery salon
area. This establishment of 6,000-square-feet store with its
magnificent façade sparkles on Jalan Bukit Bintang and marks the
tremendous growth of Louis Vuitton. “When the first Louis Vuitton store
opened in Kuala Lumpur in 1985 , Louis Vuitton was a pioneer of luxury
retail in the Malaysian capital says Mr. Delage. Today marks an
important milestone and symbolizes our dedication to our customers and
friends of Malaysia.”
The evening was officiated with a ribbon cutting ceremony officiated by
Mr. Francois Delage (President of Louis Vuitton Asia Pacific), Kathy
Lam (General Manger, Malaysia, Louis Vuitton), Tan Sri (Dr.) Francis
Yeoh (Managing Director, Starhill Gallery) and Siti Nurhaliza, the mega
superstar. This was followed by a cocktail reception in store with
Kuala Lumpur’s best. Adding dazzle to the celebration were celebrities
Paula Malai Ali as emcee, Diyan Sastro from Indonesia, Danielle Graham,
Amber Chia, Erra Fazira, January Low, Deanna Yussoff, Camelia, Lina
Teoh, Carmen Soo, Soong Ai Ling, Ida Nerina, Elaine Daly, Saw Teong
Hin, Zainal Abidin, Ramli Ibrahim and Joey G all dressed in Louis
Vuitton Spring Summer 2006 Collection.
