“A Flight to Mont Blanc”
Under
the motto “A Flight to Mont Blanc”, Montblanc invited some 1,500
international guests to an incomparable evening on 5 April 2006. With
many celebrities – including Naomi Campbell, Marcus Schenkenberg,
Johnny Depp, Vanessa Paradis, Christopher and Gitte Lee, Thomas Heinze,
Célia Gräfin von Bismarck, Bruno Eyron, Sunnyi Melles,
Norbert A. Platt – not only was the centenary celebrated, but
also the world première of the first Montblanc Chronograph with
Grande Complication.
An exclusive VW limousine service brought the invited guests to a very
special location – to a replica of the summit of Mont Blanc. A real
speciality, for no other brand logo can so perfectly reflect the
company name in its event location. To create the mood for a
magnificent party, both Managing Directors - Lutz Bethge and Wolff
Heinrichsdorff – invited the guests to a champagne reception on board
an original Airbus. Check-in for the presentation of the Montblanc
Anniversary Watches and an incomparable party “on the summit of Mont
Blanc”.
A special highlight was the presentation of the exclusive watches for
ladies and gentlemen, in strictly limited editions worldwide. The
“Montblanc Profile Lady Elegance“, a 9.85-carat ladies’ watch with a
total of 794 Top Wesselton diamonds in facet and baguette cut on the
strap, and the “Montblanc Star Chrono GMT Perpetual Calendar“ with
COSC-certified movement, were stylishly presented by the top models
Naomi Campbell and Marcus Schenkenberg and shown exclusively to the
Montblanc guests.
The evening of the cultural brand Montblanc continued in dazzling
fashion after the presentation. Star appearances by baritone Thomas
Hampson, mezzo-soprano Joyce DiDonato, the violin virtuoso
József Lendvay and the versatile Italian star singer Lucio
Dalla, enchanted the guests with their music and made for an
unforgettable evening.
