Suria KLCC Fashion Workshop (17 April – 8 May)
This year Suria KLCC is hosting its first ever series of fashion
workshops free-of-charge to all fashion enthusiasts. Among the
various workshops are Sparkle Your Eyes by Make-Up Forever, Turning
Heads With the Right Hair Style by Saw Hair Salon, Understanding Types
of Lingerie by Inner Secrets, Multiple ways to Wear Sarong by Axxezz, A
Week’s Wardrobe Under RM2,000 by Mayfair Designs, Leather Maintenance
by Cole Haan, and Why Diamonds Are A Girl’s Best Friend by Habib
Jewels.
Suria KLCC Fashion Parade (5 May – 8 May)
This year’s Fashion Parade at Suria KLCC will bring together new styles
from both international and local brands. A total of 15
spectacular catwalk parades, featuring the latest fashion by branded
labels including Elle, Max & Co., Versus, Replay, Inner Secrets,
Bagutta, Salabianca, Philosophy, Kirana and many others.What will be
interesting to take note of this year is the grand opening of
Salabianca & Philosophy’s new collection entitled the Japan Japan
Showcase.
Since its opening in May 1998, Suria KLCC has earned itself a
reputation as one of Kuala Lumpur’s main fashion centres. Fashion
is one of the most important categories for the shopping centre,
accounting for more than 35% of the total outlets.
Suria KLCC is known for its strong fashion mix of high profile brands
like Chanel, Gucci, Prada, Salvatore Ferragamo, Hugo Boss and Burberry
to high street brands like Topshop, Zara, MNG, Naf Naf and many
others. Suria KLCC is also known for housing well known local
fashion labels like Kirana Creations, Salabianca, Aseana, Arzu, Kapas
Couture, Edmund Ser, Mayfair Designs, etc.
“The Centre Management is very much involved in assisting the fashion
retailers to showcase and profile their brands. The tenant mix
particularly the fashion category was carefully selected so that the
shopping centre remains current and relevant to our targeted
customers,” said Datin Rafidah.
“Aligned with the centre’s objective to provide ‘Always Something New’,
be it a new concept, product, service or retail experience, the aim of
running these events is to showcase and bring out the distinctive
characteristics of fashion at Suria KLCC, which include diversity and
variety, and to further establish our centre as THE ‘fashion planet’ of
the country,” added Datin Rafidah.
