Soaking
in Burberry Heritage at the Pre-View of Burberry Autumn/Winter 2004/05
London Collection
Sipping
tea and nibbling on English sandwiches, Burberry’s guests were able to
soak in the experience of the Burberry heritage at its recent exclusive
pre-view of its Autumn/Winter 2004/05 London collection. Held at
Burberry’s flagship boutique at Suria KLCC, Burberry’s loyal and best
customers who make up an elite circle of fashionistas and the
crème de la crème of society were the first to get a
sneak-peek at what was in store for the rest of the Autumn/Winter
season.
To celebrate the cool and serene aura of the current fashion season,
the close-up showcase gave Burberry’s customers a lively and vibrant
exhibition of the season’s iconic looks, flaunting the dynamic fabric
and functionality of the Autumn/Winter collection.
The iconic colours and design of the season sprung to life as Burberry
models in relaxed elegance and poised composure, sashayed through
Burberry’s cosy boutique. They displayed the luxurious yet
functional qualities of the collection’s items, adding to the relaxed
and carefree setting of the day.
The Autumn/Winter 2004/05
London Collection
The season’s collection combines luxury and comfort in the Burberry
tradition where fabric quality is placed in the highest of
priority. Integral to the collection is the design inspiration
taken from Burberry icons the trench coat and its trademark check as
well as its heritage of functionality and fabric technology.
The women’s collection is uniquely infused with traditionally masculine
fabrics but used in feminine silhouettes. For the men’s
collection, classic pieces and items are given a modern edge and
sharpness.
The colour palette draws on black and grey with highlights of blue,
green, purple, cream/white and red.
