Dato’ Seri Shahrizat Jalil Launches DeGem Flagship Store

Yang Berhormat Dato’ Seri Shahrizat binti Abdul Jalil, Minister of Women, Family and Community Development as well as the Member of Parliament of Pantai officiated the opening of the DeGem Flagship Store on 27 July 2004 in the posh neighbourhood of Bangsar.

The prestigious address, which was previously PYT Bangsar, has just undergone an artistic renovation and revamp of the façade.  The store now stands at an impressive 6,000 square feet and is now the address for DeGem, one of the country’s most up-market, stylish and contemporary jewellery retailers.

According to Stephen Choong, Executive Director, DeGem, the flagship store features two new stunning additions - a luxurious VIP corner for customers who hope to view and select the jewellery in privacy and the much anticipated first Lazare Diamond® concept boutique in South East Asia.

“We are confident that the DeGem Flagship Store will be very well received by our customers.  With the addition of the Lazare Diamond® boutique to our flagship store, we can now offer our customers an even more comprehensive range of exclusive branded jewellery to our existing list that includes Schoeffel Pearls, Fabergé Masterpieces and Bellataire™ Diamond,” said Choong.

Another significant star attraction of the flagship store is the exclusive “haute joaillerie” or made-to-order jewellery service for its customers. This builds towards creating an innovative venture between DeGem and its customers.  DeGem strives to provide customers with sterling service, always with a personal touch.
