Elanet globalROAMING Launch 

Elanet Sdn Bhd , one of Malaysia’s leading telephony communications company has set another milestone in telecommunications history with the launch of Elanet globalROAMING service – the first of its kind in Malaysia.

According to Mr. Wikie Chiu, Managing Director of Elanet Sdn Bhd, Elanet globalROAMING is specially tailored for travelers who need connectivity anytime and anywhere.  

“There is no registration or monthly subscription fees required for Elanet GlobalRoaming service,” said Chiu.  “Firstly, the user needs to get a call-forward number from Elanet’s system and secondly, he needs to divert all calls from the user home mobile to the call-forward number prior to traveling, all these procedures can be activated via SMS”

“When the user travels, friends calling from the home country will simply just dial the user’s home number to reach the user on their overseas mobile. Friends in their visiting country may call the user’s overseas mobile number and pay only a local mobile cost,” he added.

Elanet globalROAMING is based on proprietary technology developed by Elanet and will successfully bridge the telecommunication gap by utilizing call forwarding features that allow users to roam with their mobile phone and fixed line numbers anywhere they travel.
