Minister of Culture, Arts & Tourism launches
VISTA’s world-class breakthrough LASIK technology
The
No-Blade Intralase® technology combined with the Bausch & Lomb
ZyoptixTM 2004 Wavefront LASIK technology (‘No Blade Intralase Zyoptix
LASIK Combination’), introduces groundbreaking innovation for LASIK
technology. Minister of Culture, Arts & Tourism launched this
breakthrough technology which establishes Malaysia as the first country
in the world to pioneer the combination of this latest innovation in
LASIK technology.
“This No Blade Intralase Zyoptix LASIK Combination will help put
Malaysia on the global map of vision correction and boost its potential
as a destination for health tourism,” said Y.B. Dato’ Paduka Abdul
Kadir Sheikh Fadzir, Minister of Culture, Arts & Tourism, Malaysia.
LASIK basically creates a corneal flap and thereafter uses an Excimer
Laser to reshape the cornea. “Although existing LASIK technology like
no-blade Intralase and Zyoptix produces good results, we are constantly
improving our efforts to increase visual quality and promote better
safety standards. The primary benefit of the No Blade Intralase Zyoptix
LASIK Combination is enhanced sharpness and improved quality of vision.
VISTA’s new LASIK service offering makes Malaysia an attractive health
tourism destination for those who wish to have their vision corrected
with the latest available best in class LASIK technology at a very
competitive rate,” said Mr. Lim Boon Siong, Founder & CEO, VISTA.
Already, VISTA has received many overseas enquiries on the success of
this No Blade Intralase Zyoptix LASIK. Mr. Lim Boon Siong predicts the
no blade Intralase Zyoptix LASIK will be the Gold Standard for LASIK
vision correction worldwide within the next 24 months.
